As an insurance coverage agent, I receive questions regularly from clients and prospects about what coverages they want and never need.

While you are needed for law to get liability insurance on your vehicle, there are certainly some coverages that happen to be optional. Roadside assistance? You might not stress about your motor vehicle becoming worn. Collision coverage? Maybe your automobile is an old clunker but it would not be a big loss whether or not it was totaled.

One coverage I strongly suggest that your client never skimp on is uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage.

What exactly is that this coverage? Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage pays you for hospital bills and lost pay for anyone who is hit by another driver who has no insurance or does not have enough insurance to pay those costs.
