0

The U.S. Forest Service claims that this wildfire season of 2016 has started with five times more acres burned than this occassion last year. Additionally, the business believes that costs rising, chronic droughts and development near wildlife areas will making fighting fires over the remaining season more challenging.
These regions are viewed to create a significant risk for wildfires for the remainder of 2016:

  • Southern California
  • The Great Basin in Nevada
  • Portions of the Southwest
  • Florida
  • Hawaii

This year, the Forest Service will mobilize 10,000 firefighters, 900 fire engines, 300 helicopters along with resources to support combat fires. To learn more about protecting your small business from fires, call us today at Neckerman Insurance Services today.
